Boston Trip, and my Garden

I got back from my Boston trip and loved it. I do miss my friends there. And something about that city still feels like home. Here are a few highlights:

I know this is really small, but this is the hatch shell/Boston Pops 4th of July concert. Let me just say, Neil Diamond, America, cannons, flags, awesome.


They passed out the blue foam statue of liberty hats. I think it goes well with the baseball cap.

On a totally different note,
I planted a few flowers in my garden this year and they look amazing! Take a look at this beauty...

It's hard to tell from this photo, but these lilies are huge! They are like 6 inch pedals. The biggest lilies I've ever seen. And the crows don't eat them.
