I was at a Ross store the other day and found the hottest pair of red patent leather slingback high heels. I fell in love with them, but they didn't have my size. I scoured the entire shoe section for the right size, looking in other boxes of the same brand for if by chance, someone put my size in the wrong box. No luck.
So I happened to be out on Saturday and passed another Ross store, so I stopped in to look for these shoes. Still no luck.
By now, I'm invested. I searched on the internet (including ebay and multiple shoe stores). Still no luck. I even purposefully drove to another Ross (this is the 3rd store, if you're counting). Still no shoes!
Finally, I'm passing the first store on my way home from work, to discover that it's not a Ross store after all (it's Marshall's). Yikes. I wasted all that time hunting in nasty Ross stores for nothin'. I was wondering why the stores were set up so differently.
What did I end up doing?
I went to the original Marshall's store and bought the shoes in a size 9 (I wear a size 8), because I think I can just tie the strap tightly and make it work.
I'm obsessed.

totally been there. . .but mine was a pair of boots.
I am still so jealous that you inherited the small feet. Why did I get stuck with a 10? There are ZERO cute shoes in a 10!
