One thing I hate.....

One comment that I can't stand is when people say something like: "well, you're pretty, you shouldn't have too much trouble getting married!" They seem to think that if you're fairly good-looking, then that's all it takes! What I would love to say back is: Marriage is not dependent on being beautiful, intelligent, or rich. I know plenty of ugly, stupid people that are married. All it really takes is finding someone that you want to marry that wants to marry you as well. Aligning the will of 2 people at the same time (and 3, if you include the Lord in your decision) can prove to be very difficult, as I've found.
